“WDFF is easily the best organized and most filmmaker-friendly film festival I’ve attended since I began attending film festivals throughout the country with my short films since Nov. 2015. Every effort is made by the founders of WDFF to make attending filmmakers feel warmly welcomed and appreciated. Their communication skills, including email and the use of all of their social media platforms is outstanding as well and deserving of a 6th star, if that were possible! And you could not ask for a classier venue for a film festival than the beautiful Springer Opera House! WDFF is a first class act from start-to-finish, and is definitely a fest that every short filmmaker should consider submitting to!”

“Way Down Film Festival was a blast! Stacy, Jacy, Cora, and Scott all put their hearts and souls into this festival and it shows. They’ve created a weekend filled with excitement, creativity, and movie magic. Thank you for respecting film as art and giving us along with all of the other filmmakers, a platform to showcase our passion. If you’re a filmmaker looking for a festival that will truly respect and honor your craft, look no further than Way Down Film Festival.”
